Is the free tier really free?
Yes. No credit card, no time limit. The free tier is the on-ramp; upgrade when you outgrow it.
What happens when messages reach the retention limit?
They're auto-deleted by a TTL index. Each plan has its own retention window — Free 7 days, Pro 30 days, Max 90 days.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing cycle.
What counts as an inbox?
One email address with a password. Plus-sign aliases (user+x@) don't count as separate inboxes.
